Self Interview
I am currently writing my debut novel.
I would like to tell you about it.
The novel is called Faith In Tails.
It is subtitled, However The Codebooks Will.
Sometimes people ask me, in candid voices,
"So, what is your novel like, anyway?"
Well, the novel is like a Citizen Ride-Along
with your local law enforcement agency.
It offers idealistic youth, and beat reporters,
the chance to observe police work.
The program facilitates candid discussions
about the nature of authority.
Background checks are mandatory,
so are signed liability waivers.
The riders ride in the spacious backseat
where the locked-up criminals go.
The riders will be candid & unrestrained.
The riders will say "What does that do?"
The cop will say, "That is the siren.
It tells people that we are going very fast."
"This is the radio," the other cop will say
"We use that to ask for help, or to offer help."
"This is our Remington Model 870 shotgun.
It is locked & loaded, but has never been fired."
Basically, that is what my novel is like.
My novel is like a paid break, with donuts.
